My work in the community ranges from creating artwork with the general public during events and festivals as drop sessions to planned events with community groups.
I have previously ran drop in sessions for the public, as part of the national event, The Big Draw, The Castle Theatre, Sure-Start and many more.
Delivered specific global, social or personal issue related workshops using the visual arts as a vehicle for communication for community groups from the YMCA, Black Minority Ethnic Resources Service, Northampton Borough Council and Northampton Bangladesh Centre.
I have created work outdoors with young people taking part in the, AMEF (Arts Meets Environment Festival) the general public at Northampton Balloon Festival and Delapre Abbey as well as painting with fellow Artists in Northampton town centre.
Workshops and events are all tailored to suit, the community group, event or specific subject. Participants could be painting, collaging, working with clay, collaborating to create a huge 3-D structure, producing very personal work or just having fun.
If you have a group, an event or an issue that you would like explored through the visual arts, please contact me to arrange an informal discussion or to request further information.
